Hi! My name is erik and I've recently started to play Highland bagpipe, but I'm also interested in those irish warpipes. Is the notescale the same for those as it is for the Highland bagpipe?

Our Society celebrates all the Celtic tribes. We study and support the Scots, Irish, Welsh, Manx, Cornish, Breton and Galician Cultures. We give free lessons for the highland pipes to members and free Scottish Gaelic lessons free to members at present. We welcome anything Irish as well. we have a library also which members are free to check out materials. It woul be nice to link with your site.

Regards,

Dusty

off course it sounds different you just have to do a little effort to figger out how different.

Flemish bagpipes also have two drones and they sound nothing like it!

The website is starting to look good. I hope this idea catches on. I play both two and three droned sets.
